Wednesday 7th: Bristol Consulting Society Launch Event
Come and meet the committee and find out about all the events, workshops and projects going on this term! This is great way to meet other members of the society in the same position as you, as well as learning about all the opportunities available to you. We will also be launching the 6 student-run consulting projects we will be running this year - more information here. After a few short talks, we will location to a bar on the Triangle for free drinks and nibbles put on by the society.
Tuesday 13th: Women's Brunch with OC&C: 10:00, Clifton Lido
Join OC&C for their Women’s Bunch in Bristol. Meet some of their team in a more relaxed environment; learn more about what makes OC&C different as well as offering invaluable interview tips and CV advice. This event is specifically aimed at female students currently studying at Bristol University - more information here. Wednesday 14th: Skills Session with FTI Consulting: 14:00-16:00, Careers Service (Tyndall Avenue)
Run in conjunction with the Careers Department, this session will give you the opportunity to learn more about the skills needed in financial & economic consulting. It is also a great opportunity to meet employees of FTI Consulting, a top international consulting firm looking to recruit from Bristol. No prior knowledge or preparation is necessary however the case study will require good numerical skills to understand the impact of the scenario on the variables in an equation.

Thursday 15th: Consulting Case Study with PwC: 15:00-16:30, PwC Bristol Office (2 Glass Wharf, Temple Quay)
Visit the PwC Bristol office and learn how to tackle case studies with real consultants. This fun afternoon is a great chance to learn about PwC's consulting service and talk to consultants about the work they do.

Open to penultimate & final year students, this case study workshop led by McKinsey consultants is a great opportunity to find out about the application process, go through a case study, develop your problem solving skills & have a chance to networking with McKinsey employees. TeachFirst are running a society-exclusive event giving you advice on how to network with employers. There will also be a chance to put your new skills into practice in an informal networking session with TeachFirst recruiters and recent graduate hires after the event.

These sessions with give you the opportunity to talk to the Bain staff and find out what it is really like to work at Bain & Company. Have a lot a questions about life in Consulting, but not had the opportunity to ask? This is your chance to get your questions answered.
The evening session (19:00) will involve small group discussion, a lively interactive presentation, and plenty of time to mingle with current Bainies of all tenures, from leadership team to those who were in your shoes last year. This is aimed at final year students of any discipline at the University of Bristol who are interested in finding out more about a career in consulting. This event is operated on a first-come first-serve basis as spaces are limited.

Wednesday 11th: Strategy, Digital & Boutique Consultancy Evening, 6.30-9pm, Goldbrick House
This BCS-exclusive event is a fantastic opportunity to talk to consultants and recruitment staff from Accenture, PA Consulting, Exilirr & Newton over canapés and drinks. There will also be a short Q&A where a representative from each company will discuss their firm and chosen line of consulting. Monday 23rd: PwC Bristol Opportunity Challenge
PwC are offering you the change to win up to £10,000 funding for your club or society! Their Opportunity Challenge involves going head-to-head with teams from the UK's top universities in a general knowledge quiz-style competition. You could be crowned national champions with prizes to match. There are separate university heats, where winners received a prize of £1000. The winning teams enter the national final at PwC's More London office to battle it out for an additional £10,000!
