Bristol Consulting Society is a student-run society at University of Bristol, providing students with opportunities and support needed to break into the competitive world of consulting.
We help our members through 4 broad services:
- Events: workshops with companies from across the whole industry, networking sessions and alumni talks
- Projects: opportunity for students to advise real businesses and gain experience alongside studies
- Applications: CV, cover letter & case study clinics, as well as individual help from the committee
- Case Competitions: internal & external competitions, giving a chance to test consulting skills
HOW TO GET INVOLVED
Membership is free and open to all University of Bristol students.
Sign up officially through the Bristol SU website by going to our society page, logging in with your university details, then choosing 'Consulting Society Standard Membership £0.00' in the right column. You will have to complete your sign-up by clicking on 'Basket' near the top and following through the order, although no payment is required.
Next, join our Facebook group, which is the easiest way to keep updated on everything that we're running. Make sure to like our Facebook page too!
From September 2019, we will be sending out fortnightly email round-ups of what's going on in the society, and upcoming events.
At CIL, the fast pace of growth presents unrivalled opportunities for early responsibility and client exposure.
Our two graduate intakes take place each year in April and September. We also offer a summer internship for penultimate year students, which runs for eight weeks from the start of July.
